Capboard's 409A valuation service delivers accurate and IRS-compliant valuations, perfect for startups and growing companies. Our valuation partner will provide our customers with a formal valuation opinion, including a detailed report outlining the analysis conducted by financial experts and results with supporting exhibits. This opinion covers the value of common stock for tax and financial reporting purposes in accordance with Section 409A of the Internal Revenue Code. With our comprehensive services, you will obtain a fair and well-documented valuation, aiding in strategic decision-making and attracting talent through competitive stock options.

• How are payments made? Once you have created your company account and have chosen the plan, you will be asked to add credit card details to which the monthly or annual charges will be made. Invoices will be available on the platform at all times.
• What are the cancellation conditions? You can cancel your subscription or close the account at any time. Please note that there is a 30-day notice period, after which credit card charges will be put on hold.
• How does the pricing work? At Capboard, we consider a stakeholder to be any shareholder, employee, or entity that has shares or equity in the company. External collaborators such as lawyers are NOT taken into account for the calculation.
• Who has access to my data? Capboard has a powerful user permission management system, which allows you to control who can access or edit your data:
  • Founders: can access and edit all users, transactions, and features.
  • Investors or advisers: can only see all the data of the companies in which they have shares.
  • Employees: they will only be able to access the details of the equity grants they have received.
  • Collaborators (i.e. lawyers): they can edit and have access to all features except account management (payments, billing data, etc.)
• Capboard has an access and change monitoring service, so we keep a history of what users have seen or accessed.
• Are you going to support with the onboarding? The tool is ready to be self-managed by founders, admins, or lawyers. We offer VIP onboarding and support services at an additional cost.
